Non-residential

Of course, you will be eligible to earn a 200-hour certification. You will also have the opportunity to dive deep into self-study, embody powerful yogic wisdom, build community, nourish yourself with incredible practices and learn to share them.  This training is ideal for those who want to become Teachers, as much as it is for those seeking to simply deepen/reignite their practice in a committed way.

The advantage of an extensive format as opposed to a residential immersion is that it will give you enough time to digest the teachings and fully embody the knowledge of the root systems and practices of Hatha Yoga and Ayurveda.

This course will take place on a private yoga studio bordering Annadel State Park in Santa Rosa, California.

Frequently Asked Questions

When & Where Do I Race?


Rather than the customary Tuesday nights in May, there are four race weeks:

  • Week 1: May 3 – 9
  • Week 2: May 10 – 16
  • Week 3: May 17 – 23
  • Week 1: May 24-30
You can race anywhere and at any time it is legal and safe to do so, just ensure you plot the distance correclty for both the run and bike. You must follow applicable rules of the road and the like as well as current Public Health orders. Use of a helmet on the bike is mandatory.




How Much Does it Cost?


The cost is $25 for the series. 2021-22 Triathlon Manitoba members receive a $5 credit at checkout (if they register using the same email address they used when purchasing their membership), reducing their cost to $20. Individual race registration is not available.




What are the Race Distances?


KOS Long (ages 12 – 15)

  • 400m run

  • 13km ride

  • 2km run

Adult Short (ages 16+)

  • 2km run

  • 13km bike

  • 2km run

Adult Long (ages 18+)

  • 4km run

  • 24km bike

  • 4km run

*Ages are as of December 31, 2021




Who Can Register?


You must be 12 or older as of December 31, 2021 to register. There is no restriction on place of residence.




How Do I Enter my Times/Results?


Send your name, the date of your race, total elapsed time, and splits if you have them, to du.in.the.park@gmail.com.

Results will be posted on the Triathlon Manitoba website. Link coming soon.
